The woman, Pratiksha, hails from Shastri Nagar in Meerut and was previously married to Major Gaurav Agnihotri from Shahjahanpur. The union began in 2018 and produced a son. However, the couple’s relationship deteriorated over time, ultimately leading to issues of harassment and disputes within the marital home, culminating in a prolonged legal struggle.

On April 4, after an extended period of legal proceedings, the divorce became official. Following this, the father decided to mark the occasion with a joyful celebration instead of adhering to societal norms that often associate divorce with shame.

Upon Pratiksha’s arrival, her father, a retired judge, made an impactful decision to ensure her homecoming was joyous and celebratory.
