Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Launches 250 Electric and CNG Vehicles to Promote Cleaner Urban Environment

On April 1, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched 250 electric and CNG vehicles for the Lucknow Municipal Corporation. This initiative is part of the state government’s broader strategy to promote urban cleanliness and sustainable growth. CM Yogi took to social media platform X to highlight the state’s progress towards achieving ‘Zero Waste to Zero Carbon Emissions,’ attributing this success to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Vehicles Symbolize Government Commitment to Environmental Goals

The Chief Minister characterized the newly introduced vehicles as emblematic of the double-engine government’s dedication to improving cleanliness, sustainable development, and environmental stewardship in Lucknow. He indicated that these vehicles will play a significant role in enhancing the waste management infrastructure within the city. CM Yogi stated, “These vehicles are symbols of the double-engine government’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainable development, and environmental protection. Through them, efforts to make Lucknow clean, smart, and green will gain even more momentum.”

CM Engages with Residents through Janata Darshan

In addition to the vehicle launch, CM Yogi conducted a regular ‘Janata Darshan’ at his residence in Lucknow on the preceding Monday. This program enables citizens to present their grievances directly, allowing the Chief Minister to address public concerns personally. During this outreach initiative, state officials received directives from the Chief Minister to resolve issues brought up by the attendees.

Highlighting Employment Achievements in Uttar Pradesh

On Sunday, CM Yogi also emphasized the state’s performance in government job creation. He reported that over the past nine years, Uttar Pradesh has generated nine lakh government jobs, asserting the integrity of the recruitment process. While distributing appointment letters to 665 nursing officers in Lucknow, he remarked, “Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in the country, home to 25 crore people. In the past nine years, we have provided government jobs to nine lakh youths. No one can question the transparency of any job or selection process, not even the opposition.”
