Bengaluru Man Accuses Wife of Sexual Harassment, Forcing Him to Have Sex with Her Friend

The CSR Journal Magazine

A resident of Bengaluru has filed a police complaint against his wife, alleging sexual harassment and mental cruelty. In the complaint, the man describes a pattern of what he categorizes as “sexual torture” inflicted upon him by his spouse. The accusations include claims that she compelled him to perform unnatural sexual acts and pressured him to engage in intimate relations with one of her friends. Furthermore, the complainant alleges that his wife frequently sent him explicit videos and coerced him to replicate such actions.

Claims of Distress and Invasion of Privacy

The man has stated that his wife pressured him to share private details of their intimate life with her acquaintances, contributing to his significant emotional distress. According to his allegations, she openly acknowledged having previous and ongoing relationships, asserting that his financial situation was inadequate for her lifestyle. The complainant also criticized his wife’s habits of excessive drinking and spending extensive time with her friends, often disregarding his objections to these activities.

Details of the Alleged Harassment

The first information report (FIR) records that the alleged harassment occurred over a significant period, specifically from March 4, 2022, to September 24, 2024. An attempt at family mediation was reported on July 4, 2024, but the man claims the harassment continued unabated following this effort.

Accusations Against In-Laws

In addition to his allegations against his wife, the complainant has named his in-laws in the complaint. He claims they interfered in the marital relationship, threatened him, and ultimately compelled him to vacate their shared residence in Jakkur under false pretenses. It is alleged that he was misled into leaving without being permitted to retrieve his possessions.

Claims of Misappropriated Property

The complainant further asserts that he entrusted his wife with substantial amounts of cash and gold jewelry belonging to both himself and his family, which have not been returned. Additionally, he alleges that essential personal documents, including his passport and educational certificates, remain at the residence that he was forced to leave.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the complaint, the police have registered a case and announced that an investigation is in progress. The FIR includes multiple charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, encompassing provisions related to criminal intimidation, wrongful restraint, and criminal breach of trust, among other offenses.
