YiPPee! Hosts Plastic Waste Management Mega Awareness Fair

Mrs. Pranitha, Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), inaugurated the Plastic Waste Management Mega Awareness Fair as part of YiPPee! Better World CSR program. The event was held at KPS Primary school, Hegganahalli, with support from ITC and implemented by Agastya International Foundation.

The Plastic Waste Management Mega Awareness Fair was conducted to create awareness on plastic pollution and plastic waste among primary & high school students and to encourage sustainable practices such as reduce, reuse, and recycle. This initiative aligns perfectly with YiPPee! Better World’s motto: encouraging kids in enjoyable ways to build a community of change-makers and drive compassionate sustainability from an early age.

The launch event saw the enthusiastic participation of 1,800 students from KPS primary school, Hegganahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka along with distribution of 1,800 Plastic Smart workbooks. The event also included various activities like posters, science models on plastic waste management and showcase on repurposed plastic waste material Key dignitaries present included:
