Addressing the teacher community of WhiteHat Jr, Dr. Kiran Bedi, Founder of Navjyoti India Foundation, said, “The pandemic has created a huge learning deficit, more pronounced in the underprivileged sections of the society where children don’t have access to gadgets such as computers, smartphones etc. I am delighted that the teacher community of this platform came together with an aim to help children from the underprivileged section of the society.”
Speaking about this association, Trupti Mukker, CEO, WhiteHat Jr, said, “This initiative would not have been possible without support from our teacher community who voluntarily donated hours in teaching as well as preparing for sessions which can be delivered over mobile phones. Our teachers are our biggest asset and the WhiteHeart initiative is a testimony of their desire to contribute to society by going above and beyond. We have learnt a lot in this first leg, and now our intent will be to make the CSR initiative even more impactful in the times to come.”
