We May Need An Autonomous Body For CSR: Pooran Chandra Pandey

After serving UN Global Compact (UNGC) Network India for five years as Executive Director, Pooran Chandra Pandey recently joined Dialogue of Civilisations (DOC) Research Institute in Berlin as Chief Executive Officer.
In an interview with The CSR Journal, he talks about role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the operation of corporate firms. He is a firm believer of the fact that companies involved in social activities grow better than the ones who distance themselves from the community. According to him, an autonomous body may be needed in the near future to facilitate the process of CSR in India.
