Student Leadership Programme

Indian Development Foundation (IDF) launched Student Leadership Programme (SLP) – training leadership skills among students in different schools in Mumbai.   Students will be mostly drawn from aided/ unaided/ municipal schools.  The first pilot project with 50 students was launched in Mumbai during the academic year 2013-14.  Looking at the success, the team scaled it up to 10 schools during 2014-15 and churned out 500 student leaders.  During academic year 2015-16, we aim to cross 10,000 student leaders and with the overwhelming response from the mentors/ volunteers, we are confident of surpassing our target.
