Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) has commenced the application process for its M.B.A. programmes for the academic session 2027-28. These programmes are offered exclusively through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026. The M.B.A. in Information Technology Business Management (ITBM) and M.B.A.

In Data Sciences and Data Analytics (DSDA), there are opportunities available to graduates from any recognised university or institution, provided they have a minimum of 50 per cent marks, or 45 per cent for SC/ST students. Final-year students also have the opportunity to apply, provided they fulfil the eligibility requirements.

SNAP Test Structure and Schedule

The SNAP test, which will be conducted as a computer-based examination, will be available on three dates: December 13, December 19, and December 26, 2026. Candidates can attempt the examination up to three times, with the highest score considered for the admission process. A registration fee of Rs 2,550 applies for the SNAP test, in addition to a programme registration fee of Rs 1,000 for each selected programme. The registration window opened on August 21, 2026, and will close on November 25, 2026.

SNAP will be administered across 79 cities in India and will consist of multiple-choice questions. Each incorrect answer will incur a 25 per cent negative marking. The results will be published on January 12, 2027, and will be valid for admissions for the 2027-28 academic year.

Placement Opportunities and Industry Connections

SCIT boasts an impressive placement record, particularly for its M.B.A. in ITBM, which has an intake of 180 students and recorded nearly complete placements last year, with the highest salary package reaching ₹30 lakh per annum. The M.B.A. in DSDA, accommodating 60 students, also showed strong placement outcomes, offering a highest package of ₹21.77 lakh per annum.

The institution collaborates with a broad network of over 150 organisations across diverse fields such as consulting, technology, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Renowned companies including Bain, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Accenture, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and Goldman Sachs are part of SCIT’s recruiter base.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, SCIT provides its students with specialised training in areas like Systems & Enterprise Consulting, Information Security Management, Digital Transformation, and Data Science & Business Analytics.
