Salman Khan Opens Up About Death Threats and Heightened Security

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recently discussed the death threats he has received from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which have forced him to take significant precautions regarding his safety. The actor, currently promoting his upcoming film Sikandar, addressed the situation, emphasising that his life is in the hands of God.

Salman Khan’s Stance

Salman said, “Bhagwan, Allah, everything is up to him. I will live as long as I am destined to live,” acknowledging the challenges he faces with constant security around him. “Sometimes, I have to move with two people with me. That becomes a problem,” he added, expressing the restrictions on his personal freedom.
Salman Khan received increased protection measures after militants launched an attack on his Bandra residence during April 2024. A motorbike-riding shooter targeted Salman’s home and police later identified Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang as responsible while Anmol Bishnoi admitted to carrying out the attack.

Salman Khan Targeted for Years Over Blackbuck Poaching Case  

Police investigations demonstrated that Salman became a target since the Bishnoi gang began pursuing him after his participation in the blackbuck poaching incident from 1998. According to Salman’s declaration the Bishnoi gang previously threatened him and the attack on his residence fits within consistent threats against him.
Salman continues to stay dedicated to his work alongside ongoing security measures for his protection. On March 30 the upcoming action thriller Sikandar featuring Salman Khan will premiere under direction of A.R. Murugadoss. Salman has co-starred with Rashmika Mandanna in this motion picture. The actor displays remarkable determination through these threats because he dedicates himself to his professional pursuits and receives strong backing from both his admirers and his professional circle.
