Popular Educator Khan Sir Launches Dialysis Centres and Blood Banks Across Bihar

The CSR Journal Magazine

Popular educator and YouTuber Faizal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has announced a large-scale healthcare initiative aimed at serving Bihar’s needy. On the auspicious occasion of Sawan’s last Monday, Khan Sir declared his plan to establish dialysis centres and blood banks in every district of Bihar. This is a major expansion of his public service work beyond the field of education.

Khan Sir, who has gained fame among youth for his simple teaching style and accessibility, now intends to ease the burden of medical expenses for kidney patients across Bihar. According to his announcement, advanced dialysis machines from Germany have already been ordered and the groundwork for setting up these centres is underway. Khan Sir explained that dialysis treatments are, at present, largely unaffordable for the underprivileged, with costs reaching as high as Rs 50,000 per month per patient. His goal is to offer this critical service at very low or even no cost. Therefore, patients will no longer be forced to sell land or valuables for treatment, nor travel long distances to cities like Patna for care.

In addition to dialysis centres, Khan Sir’s project includes the installation of modern blood banks in every district. For this, high-tech equipment is being sourced from Japan. The first such blood bank will be launched on the first day of Navratri. Khan Sir emphasised that rural patients and those from outside major cities often struggle the most to obtain blood during emergencies. He has witnessed many families breaking down due to the shortage of blood for critical patients, sometimes losing their loved ones purely due to lack of resources. This inspired him to take up the responsibility to ensure blood is available across the state.

His ambition does not stop here. In future stages, Khan Sir aims to transform these centres into full-fledged hospitals, providing world-class facilities and medicines at government-approved rates. A special hospital is expected to be inaugurated by Diwali, and plans are also underway for a modern diagnostic centre equipped with the latest German machines by Chhath festival. The teacher stressed that this is his way of giving back to the society that has supported him over the years. He added that saving one person not only saves an individual, but also upholds the wellbeing of entire families.

Khan Sir said that this initiative is in line with Indian philosophy, especially the belief that the entire world is one family. He promised that all communities, regardless of background, would be able to access these services. By rolling out new medical services on each festival, he aims to combine the spirit of celebration with concrete steps to improve Bihar’s healthcare.

Through these bold steps, Khan Sir is set to become a true messiah for Bihar’s poor, bringing hope to thousands of families in need of affordable life-saving treatment.
