PM Flagged Off 200 Electric Buses in Delhi NCR

The Prime Minister flagged off 200 electric buses in Delhi NCR to promote green and clean urban transport on the occasion of World Environment Day celebrated on Thursday. The Prime Minister inaugurated the new model of bus and stated that the initiative will contribute to building a clean and green Delhi.

He also further elaborated on the initiative and said that it will improve the ease of living for the people of Delhi in a post published on social media platform X. The Prime Minister said, “Building a clean, clean Delhi! Flag off of electric buses is an initiative of the Delhi government aimed at boosting sustainable development and clean urban mobility. Additionally, this will also improve the ease of living for the people of Delhi.”

This event was also attended by the Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, the Lieutenant Governor of the capital city, Vinay Kumar Saxena, and Union Minister of Environment, Bhupendra Yadav.

The Delhi CM thanked the Prime Minister and said, “Your encouragement for Delhi’s effort promoting electric mobility strengthens our resolve to build a cleaner, cleaner, and more sustainable [city].”
