Israeli Forces Fires into a Crowd Trying to get Food Aid

Israeli forces fired into a crowd that was trying to get aid from trucks in the Gaza Strip on Monday. This resulted in the killing of 51 people and is considered one of the bloodiest incidents, while the war-hit citizens desperately struggle for food.

Shares on social media show that mangled bodies were lying on the streets at Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli military also acknowledged the firing in the area and said that it was looking into the incident. Businesses from the site, as interviewed by the international media, state that Israeli tanks fired at least two shells at a crowd of thousands who gathered on the main eastern road in the hope of getting food from the trucks.

Medics also claim that at least 51 people were killed and 200 were wounded, out of whom 20 are in critical condition. Casualties are being rushed into the hospital in civilian cars, rickshaws, and donkey carts.
