An ISIS module was busted in Delhi on Friday by the Delhi Police Special Cell, with two suspected terrorists arrested for allegedly planning and taking training for a suicide attack in the capital. The two suspects, including one identified as Adnan from Bhopal, were arrested in a coordinated operation carried out in Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar and Bhopal, a senior police officer said.

What was their plan?
Sharing details of the operation, the officer stated, “Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused were associated with ISIS and were in the process of planning a major terror strike in Delhi. Electronic devices and incriminating materials have been seized from their possession.”
Currently, the suspects are being interrogated regarding their network and the details of their planned attack. “These arrests have prevented a potential terror attack in Delhi,” the officer added. Initial reports reveal that the two accused were arrested with arms and ammunition.
