India At 70 : A Story Of India’s Independence & Beyond
After 300 years of colonial rule, the soul of our nation long suppressed found utterance. India finally got its Independence on 15th August 1947.
The country remained a dominion of the crown until 26th January 1950, after which the constitution of India came into effect. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar regarded as the chief architect of the constitution laid down a democratic and secular vision. Justice, equality and liberty was promised to all its citizens.
We have come to a point, where our nation has blossomed as a collective of individuals, working towards fulfilling multiple aspirations, desires and faiths. The CSR Journal takes you a step closer, recollecting a series of landmark and extolling moments through #IndiaAt70 – a story of independent India, where we found a nation with icons and heroes.
As we turn 70, India has embarked on its journey to overcome every day struggles and conflicts. We envision a nation, which not only preaches, but also practices to work towards building a sustainable society.
