Mumbai, India: In a heartfelt effort to uplift the lives of visually impaired children, Sajjan Jain Support Trust, an initiative by Arkade Developers Limited, has joined hands with NAB India (National Association for the Blind) to support inclusive education under the ‘Care Per Sq. Ft’ initiative.
As part of this initiative, Arkade Developers pledges to donate a portion of the proceeds from every flat sold to fund educational resources for visually impaired students every month. Launched in April 2025, the initiative has already impacted 69+ students in just two months, providing them with critical tools for learning and growth.
The support covers children from Class 1 to Class 12, offering them Braille writing slates, Braille paper, Braille textbooks, and opportunities to participate in educational and recreational camps. All resources are provided completely free of cost, targeting students from economically weaker backgrounds, and ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their access to quality education.
Mr. Arpit Jain, Director of Arkade Developers Limited, expressed his commitment to the cause, stating: “At Arkade, we believe real progress happens when every child, regardless of their circumstances, is given a fair chance to grow. Our partnership with NAB India is an extension of that belief — helping visually impaired students gain access to the tools and learning they need. We’re committed to ensuring that our impact is not just measured in square feet, but in lives touched and uplifted.”
Dr Vimal Kumar Dengla, Chairman Trustee, National Association for the Blind India (NAB India), commented, “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Arkade Developers for their steadfast support and profound compassion. Their visionary initiative — contributing per square foot towards the education of visually challenged children — is not merely an act of generosity, but a beacon of transformative change. This meaningful partnership is opening doors to quality education for countless children, empowering them to build lives of independence, dignity, and purpose. Together, we are not just laying the foundation of hope — we are illuminating a future that is brighter, inclusive, and full of possibilities”.
