Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL), India’s first institutionally promoted Power Exchange, has made its contribution to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) fund to assist in providing relief measures to the affected people in today’s difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic. The contribution is made by all the company employees and staff by dedicating one day’s salary. In addition to this, PXIL has also contributed more than the amount to the sum collected through employee support towards PM-CARES fund.
“We are very honoured to be able to contribute to the society through an excellent platform created by the government, said, Prabhajit Kumar Sarkar, Managing Director and CEO, PXIL.  In the current situation where power sector has been classified as an ‘essential service’, the PXIL team is working tirelessly to keep the markets open and continue to ensure that  operations are running smoothly for the customers 24×7 to provide uninterrupted power supply amid the national lockdown or any other eventualities.
