Apple Special Event Confirmed For March 2026: Could be a ₹50,000 MacBook Launch?

The CSR Journal Magazine

Apple has announced a significant event set for March 4, 2026, at 9 AM ET, which will take place simultaneously in New York, London, and Shanghai. This occasion marks a departure from the company’s traditional events held at its headquarters in Cupertino.

Select media representatives have received invitations that promise a “special Apple experience.” The invitation features a new 3D Apple logo made with layers of glass, reflecting innovative design.

Anticipated Launch of Affordable MacBook

Among the highlights of the event is the potential introduction of a new budget-friendly MacBook. Industry insiders suggest this device has been under development for some time and could be unveiled during the event.

Speculation indicates that the affordable MacBook may incorporate the A18 Pro chipset found in the iPhone 16 Pro and come with a 12.9-inch LCD display. It is expected to be available in vibrant colors like blue, yellow, and pink, with a projected price point around $599 (approximately ₹54,000) in the United States.

Other Expected Product Launches

In addition to the new low-cost MacBook, Apple may also present upgraded versions of its existing hardware. The MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max chipsets is anticipated, alongside a new Apple Studio display and enhancements to the Mac lineup.

Introduction of iPhone 17e

A noteworthy addition to the lineup could be the iPhone 17e, which is expected to launch concurrently with the MacBook. This model is believed to feature significant upgrades over the iPhone 16e, including the A19 chipset, support for MagSafe, and reduced bezels. However, the overall camera setup and display notch may remain similar to its predecessor.

New iPad Air and 12th Generation iPad

The event could also see the introduction of the updated iPad Air featuring the M4 chipset, although its design and functionality may closely resemble the previous version. Additionally, Apple is likely to unveil the 12th generation iPad, which is anticipated to utilize the A18 chipset from the iPhone 16.

Upgrades to Siri and AI Features

While there have been delays concerning the rollout of a fully revamped Siri, Apple is expected to announce some enhancements to its virtual assistant. The company may introduce iOS 26.4, which will include a new iteration of Siri potentially powered by Google Gemini as part of a significant business collaboration.
