ADP India, a global leader in human capital management, is proud to announce the construction of a state-of-the-art trauma care center at the Korlapahad toll plaza in Kethepally Mandal, Nalgonda district, in close partnership with the department of health. The primary purpose of this trauma care center is to deliver immediate and effective medical treatment to accident victims, significantly reducing the time between injury and care. The foundation stone was laid in the presence of Mr. Sri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy – Hon’ble Minister of Roads & Buildings, Cinematography and Mr. Sri Narayana Reddy IAS – Nalgonda District Collector along with the senior leadership of ADP India Pvt. Ltd. This initiative reflects ADP India’s dedication to enhancing public health and safety.
This cutting-edge facility spread across 6500 square feet, aims to promote public safety by supporting the health department to provide enhanced, immediate medical assistance to accident victims, ensuring that critically injured individuals receive the urgent care they need. The Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway (NH 65), has 17 blackspots, leading to over 500 accidents, claiming over 120 lives in 2023-24. This area is a critical junction with high traffic flow, making it a vital point for emergency medical services. The trauma care center, equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art trauma care medical facility and equipment, and medical support staff will cater to these severe trauma cases. Immediate medical intervention can significantly reduce the number of fatalities and improve the prognosis for accident victims.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli, Managing Director, ADP India said, “ADP India is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. The construction of this trauma care center underscores our dedication to enhancing public safety and providing immediate medical assistance to those in need. By leveraging the latest medical technology and strategically positioning the facility at a high-traffic area, we aim to significantly reduce mortality rates and improve outcomes for accident victims.”
The first hour after a traumatic injury, often called the ‘golden hour’, is the most crucial for survival. ADP’s Trauma Center is strategically located near the high-risk Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway, designed to provide immediate, life-saving care to critically injured patients. This rapid response can be crucial in saving lives and minimizing the severity of injuries.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of ADP’s Trauma Care Center, Sri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Minister for Roads, Construction and Cinematography, said “I commend ADP on behalf of the government of Telangana and all the villages circling the national highway. Over the past decade, we have witnessed hundreds of accidents on this highway, which left people gravely injured disabled or worse. ADP has taken up a massive stride in catering to the people of Telangana. The government also thanks ADP and the team for their humanitarian contributions. The necessary equipment is brought in, and we hope to inaugurate the facility soon“.
Mr. Sujnan Venkatesh, Senior Vice President and HR Head, ADP India, added, “The establishment of this trauma care center by ADP India is a significant step towards enhancing road safety and ensuring timely medical aid for accident victims in our district. This collaboration between the government and private sector is a model for public-private partnerships that prioritize community welfare.”
The trauma care center at the Korlapahad toll plaza is a testament to ADP India’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community well-being. As construction progresses, ADP India looks forward to partnering with local authorities and the healthcare department to ensure the successful implementation and operation of this critical facility. The event also witnessed the presence of key representatives from ADP India’s leadership, including Mr. Viswa Kumar Manda, Mr. Aithal Sachidananda, Mr. Bhanu Kotagiri, Mr. Ranjan Aggarwal, and Mr. Satyanarayana Vinjamoori.
This initiative is part of ADP’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility through Tarang. This follows ADP’s recent collaboration with Akshaya Patra Foundation which provided 900,000 meals to 37,000 children studying in government schools across India. Over the past 25 years of its operations in India, ADP has made significant contributions to various causes, including women empowerment, education and community development.
