Modi Enterprises is distributing over 35,000 dry food relief bags to the migrants and daily wage workers. Contributing to the same, Modicare Limited kicked off their first leg of distribution in Delhi with Samir Modi and Neha Bansal Yadav, District Magistrate (DM) of West Delhi, this week.
Modicare in collaboration with the West Delhi DM’s office donated the dry food relief bags near TDI Mall, Rajouri Garden. These food relief bags contained essentials like rice, pulses, sugar, oil and salt among other items, which is enough supply to feed a family of five for 3-4 days. In the coming few days, Modicare would be distributing over 2000 such dry food relief bags to the migrants and daily wage workers, residing in Delhi. The brand is also aiming to extend a helping hand to various other cities and states in the coming days.
Samir Modi, Founder, and Managing Director, Modicare Limited said, “Daily wage and migrant workers of the country are amongst the most affected. We are trying to do our bit for the nation and contribute towards those in need as much as possible.”
