New Delhi witnessed three unrelated murder cases on Tuesday, raising serious concerns over violent crimes in the national capital. The first incident occurred late at night in the Connaught Place area, where a 36-year-old businessman was allegedly beaten to death by three food delivery personnel.

The businessman had reportedly attended a party in the area and an altercation broke out with three individuals identified as food delivery workers. During the confrontation, the suspects allegedly attacked the man using a helmet, inflicting fatal injuries. He was declared dead shortly afterwards. Law enforcement officials have detained the accused and initiated an investigation under relevant legal sections.

Railway Employee Fatally Attacked in Gulabi Bagh

In a separate case reported from Gulabi Bagh, a 17-year-old male was taken into custody for the murder of a railway employee. As per police sources, the accused attacked the victim with a gas cylinder and subsequently slit his throat.

Initial investigation suggests that the teenager acted in response to an alleged attempt of sexual misconduct by the railway employee. The matter is under further inquiry to verify the chain of events and establish motive. The minor has been sent to a juvenile detention facility pending further proceedings.

Youth Stabbed to Death in Pandav Nagar

The third incident took place in east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar, where a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death by three minors. Preliminary information indicates that the deceased was involved in a recent altercation, where he had allegedly assaulted one of the minors.

The incident reportedly escalated into a confrontation, during which the group attacked the man with a knife, leading to his death. All three juveniles were later apprehended by police. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements in support of the investigation.

Police Begin Investigations Across All Cases

Delhi Police have registered cases in all three matters and investigations are ongoing. Officials stated that in each case, the violence seems to have stemmed from personal disputes or alleged grievances, although detailed inquiries are still underway to confirm motives and other details.

All three victims were male, and their identities have been verified. The accused individuals, including minors involved in two of the incidents, are currently in police custody or juvenile facilities, as applicable.

These back-to-back crimes have brought renewed attention to public safety and law enforcement efforts in the city. Security has been increased in the areas involved, and authorities have appealed to residents to report any suspicious behaviour to local stations. The Delhi Police continue their investigations while maintaining heightened vigilance across the city.
