As stated by Chief Minister Dhami, the construction of mini stadiums is a crucial step in this sports development program. The recent National Games, held in 2025, marked a significant achievement for Uttarakhand, where the state won a total of 103 medals, establishing itself as a rising star in the sporting arena.

In preparation for the National Games, the Uttarakhand government invested in international-level sports infrastructure across the state.
