Three labourers Die at Construction Site in Greater Noida

Three labourers working at a construction site in Greater Noida at the outskirts of Delhi died while two others were injured after a wall of an adjacent building of a private firm collapsed on Thursday afternoon. One has been apprehended in the matter.

Sudhir Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ACP) Greater Noida, told the national media that the deceased have been identified as the 32-year-old Anita, 34-year-old, and 40-year-old Pushpendra. All three were residents of Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district.

“We have admitted those who suffered injuries to the hospital where the treatment is ongoing,” said ACP Sudhir Kumar. “We have taken the contractor concerned into custody after a complaint from the families of the deceased and an investigation is underway,” he further added.
