Janashakti Janata Dal party chief Tej Pratap Yadav contested the election from Mahua seat. On this seat, he was competing against RJD MLA Mukesh Roshan, LJP (Ra) candidate Sanjay Singh and AIMIM’s Amit Kumar. Tej Pratap Yadav campaigned vigorously on this seat but his condition seems to be worsening in the results coming on Friday.
Tej Pratap at number three
Chirag’s party LJP (Ra) had made Sanjay Kumar Singh the candidate from Mahua seat on behalf of NDA. As the seventh round of counting was about to end, he was leading with 22443 votes.
RJD’s Mukesh Kumar Roshan is at second place. He has got 22443 votes. Tej Pratap Yadav is at third position from this seat, who has received 17436 votes so far.
By the end of the seven round of counting, he had not even been able to cross the 5 thousand mark. This tells how strong the NDA wave is in Mahua seat.
How distance created between RJD and Tej Pratap?
Former minister Tej Pratap Yadav wrote on his new social media page, “The one who has Pratap, that is your own Tej Pratap”. After this caption surfaced, the market of discussions in politics has become hot. Now the speculation has intensified whether Tej Pratap is going to announce his new party soon. After expulsion from RJD, this digital activism is being seen as a sign of the beginning of a new political innings.
The words written on this page of Tej Pratap definitely make their new path realize, but the picture on the page shows that his relationship with family and the party is not completely over yet. He has also put a picture of parents (Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi) on the page, which makes it clear that he is not angry with his family members and still remains equally attached to him. Some of his special associates say that Tej Pratap can soon form a new party, although Tej Pratap Yadav himself has not officially confirmed it.
In the past, due to the photo of Anushka and Tej Pratap going viral on social media and their 12-year relationship, Lalu Yadav expelled him out of the Janata Dal for 6 years, but no official information has been sent to the assembly, due to which the old system of sitting in the assembly of Tej Pratap is continued. Till date, he is sitting with his old party.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party president and ex-Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad expelled his eldest son from the party for six years on charges of “irresponsible behaviour” and violation of family values.
Prasad posted a message on social media X saying, “Ignoring moral values in personal life weakens the collective struggle for social cause. The activities, public conduct and irresponsible behaviour of the eldest son are not in accordance with our family values and traditions. Therefore, due to the above circumstances, I remove him from the party and family. From now on, he will not have any role of any kind in the party and family. He is expelled from the party for 6 years.”
Prasad further said, “He is capable of seeing the good and bad and merits and demerits of his personal life. All those who have relations with him should take their own decisions. I have always been an advocate of public shame in public life. The obedient members of the family have adopted and followed this idea in public life.”
Sources in the party said that Prasad has taken the decision to disown his elder son after he posted pictures of his remarriage with a girl named Anushka Yadav. In that post he claimed that he had been in a relationship with the girl visible in the picture for the past 12 years.
