You can leave the group without informing the group members. Only the ‘admin’ of that group will know that you have left the group. How to leave WhatsApp group quietly?

1) Open WhatsApp. Update your account.

2) Go to the group you wish to leave.

3) ‘Tap’ on the group name. Then you will see ‘Group Info’.

4) Scroll down further. You will see the ‘Exit Group’ option.

5) ‘Tap’ there. A pop-up will appear asking if you really want to leave the group or not.

6) Now click on the option to leave the group.

7) Except for the admin, the other members will not be able to know that you are no longer in the group.

WhatsApp Custom Lists is a feature that lets you organise your chats into personalised categories, like “Family,” “Work,” or “Neighbourhood,” making it easier to find important conversations and declutter your main chat list by filtering for specific groups or individuals. You create lists by tapping the + sign in the filter bar at the top of the Chats tab, adding one-on-one chats or groups, and then tapping the list’s name to see only those contacts.

How to block unwanted numbers on WhatsApp

You can block unwanted numbers on WhatsApp either directly from a chat or through your privacy settings. You also have the option to silence all calls from unknown numbers as a privacy measure against spam.

Method 1: Block from a Chat (for single numbers)

This is the quickest method, especially if the number is not saved in your contacts.

Open WhatsApp and go to the chat with the unwanted number.

Tap on the contact’s name or phone number at the top of the chat screen to view their contact info.

Scroll down and tap Block.

Tap Block again to confirm. You can also choose Report and block if you believe the user is sending spam or problematic content.
