The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is planning to auction 118 residential plots in the upscale South Delhi locality of Vasant Kunj. Middle-income Delhi residents may soon be able to purchase residential plots in Sector D6 of Vasant Kunj. The DDA has issued a tender to hire an agency to plan and demarcate all 118 residential plots.

“The DDA will be developing 118 plots along with surrounding infrastructure, including roads and essential services such as sewage, drainage, and water supply, in preparation for the upcoming auctions,” a DDA official told national media.

Construction Begins

A total investment of ₹7.46 crore will be made to complete the entire development work within one year through the selected agency. The specific details about the interior layout and plot sizes are not yet available.

In addition, the DDA has issued notices inviting tenders that also include the construction of a two-level deck parking facility, along with surface parking.

“As part of the project, the DDA will also develop service parking facilities for the Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada, and Saraswati blocks of Sector D6, Vasant Kunj mega housing. This development will benefit the residents of 1,904 flats across the six mega housing blocks by easing existing parking issues. The plotted development will also cater to members of the public who prefer independent plots,” said the concerned officials.
