Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin has expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks characterising opposition leaders as “Naraaz Fufa.” During a speech delivered on September 6 at SRCC College, Modi pointed out the dissatisfaction among certain groups, which Nabin affirmed when addressing various media outlets. Nabin emphasised that such individuals struggle to progress and maintain a positive outlook.

Opposition’s Reaction to India’s Development

Nabin also addressed the reaction of opposition parties to India’s recent advancements, questioning the reasons for their discontent amid national progress. He highlighted key achievements such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the symbolism of hoisting the national flag at Lal Chowk in Kashmir. According to Nabin, these milestones contribute to a sense of national pride and should be celebrated rather than met with anger.

The BJP leader further underscored the ongoing efforts against Naxalism, asserting that these actions are vital for peace and stability in the country. Nabin challenged the opposition, asking why they would express dissatisfaction when substantial strides are being made to improve security and socio-economic conditions across India.

He pointed out that under Modi’s leadership, approximately 25 crore underprivileged families have reportedly risen out of poverty, a claim Nabin cited as critical evidence of the government’s effective policies. The opposition’s inability to accept these successes, according to Nabin, reflects a broader unwillingness to acknowledge the progress that India is making.

Future Vision for India

Nabin articulated that Modi’s vision is aimed at achieving a developed India by 2047, a goal that resonates with a population of 140 crore Indians. He stressed that this ambition is pursued collectively, disregarding the criticisms from opposition parties. Nabin reiterated that no amount of opposition would hinder India’s development trajectory or the collective resolve towards attaining the vision of a prosperous nation.

The BJP National President’s statements are an indication of the party’s approach to countering opposition narratives by framing their criticisms as expressions of jealousy rather than legitimate political concerns.
