										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h4>On October 4, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited veteran BJP leader LK Advani at his residence to celebrate a quarter-century of his public service. PM Modi&#8217;s journey in political leadership began as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. Over the years, he transitioned from state leadership to the national stage, eventually becoming the Prime Minister of India.</h4>
<h4>After their meeting, PM Modi took to platform X to express his respect for Advani and to seek his blessings. He acknowledged Advani&#8217;s significant contributions to India&#8217;s political landscape. PM Modi stated, “Met Advani Ji at his residence and sought his blessings. His decades of public service and contribution to our national life have left a lasting imprint.”</h4>
<h4>Advani, a prominent figure in Indian politics, served as Union Home Minister between 1999 and 2004 during the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, led by then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. His role as Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004 further solidified his influence within the BJP and the country.</h4>
<h1>Nationwide Celebrations Organised by the BJP</h1>
<h4>The BJP initiated celebrations across India to mark PM Modi&#8217;s 25 years in public governance, coined as the &#8216;Seva Sankalp Abhiyan&#8217;. <h4>Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spearheaded the celebrations from Uttarkashi. He actively engaged in a &#8216;Seva Jyoti Yatra&#8217; and a related &#8216;Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha&#8217;, lighting a torch alongside party colleagues to express the state’s commitment to the overarching development agenda.</h4>
<h1>BJP Leaders Commend PM Modi&#8217;s Contribution</h1>
<h4>In Assam, BJP state president Dilip Saikia commemorated the extensive celebrations, emphasizing PM Modi&#8217;s dedication to public service over the past 25 years. He noted that the BJP had arranged &#8216;Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas&#8217; at district levels throughout the nation, including various activities in Assam.</h4>
<h4>Saikia announced plans for a &#8216;Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra&#8217; in Assam, indicating that both party workers and citizens were actively participating in the observance. He remarked on the enthusiasm surrounding the occasion and the importance of community engagement in these celebrations.</h4>
<h4>In West Bengal&#8217;s Medinipur, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh remarked on the celebrations, which sought to underscore the government&#8217;s welfare initiatives and PM Modi&#8217;s role in public life. He highlighted that the events were organised with enthusiasm across various regions, allowing citizens to recognise the benefits derived from the government&#8217;s efforts to work towards a developed India by 2047.</h4>
<h1>Modi&#8217;s Political Journey from Gujarat to National Leadership</h1>
<h4>Prime Minister Modi&#8217;s political career commenced when he took the oath of office as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001. He held the position until May 2014, when he transitioned to national politics following a successful campaign in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, which were led by the BJP&#8217;s NDA.</h4>
<h4>Upon taking office as Prime Minister in May 2014, Modi has since maintained his position, successfully being re-elected in 2019. In June 2024, he commenced his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. The events organised nationwide serve to highlight this significant milestone in his public service, as well as the BJP&#8217;s stated objective of achieving a developed India by 2047.</h4>
