According to the family’s statements, Lakra had been relying on a government pension deposited in his account at the Jharkhand Gramin Bank. Relative claims suggest that the bank manager required them to repeatedly visit the branch for almost three months to complete the mandatory e-KYC process which was necessary to access the account funds.

The family further asserted that the situation only improved after intervention from the regional manager, but by that time, Lakra was already in critical condition. They even transported the bedridden patient to the bank for the e-KYC verification, yet maintained they were left waiting for the money following the completion of the required documentation.

He insisted that the funds remained available in the account, and no withdrawal was made because no family member visited the bank to do so.

The bank’s representatives maintained that once the e-KYC was finished, there were no further barriers to accessing the funds. In their view, the tragedy of Lakra’s death is not a result of their actions. The officials emphasised the account was operational and funds were accessible, disputing the family’s claims that delays had led to a loss of life.

]]> A postman in Ranchi has been suspended following the discovery of a substantial collection of undelivered letters, including critical documents like Aadhaar cards and PAN cards. The incident has raised concerns over the management of postal services in the area. Reports indicate that these letters had not reached their intended recipients for several months.

The situation came to light on July 3 when residents reported missing important letters and official communications. In response to these complaints, the postal department initiated an inquiry that led to the identification of Vikas Kumar, an Assistant Branch Post Master (APBM) working at the Pithoria post office.

Investigators suspect that Kumar allegedly hoarded these letters for almost a year. Post Office Inspector Deepak Kumar revealed that a significant number of undelivered documents were recovered from the postman’s bag, in addition to being found in sacks and scrap materials located near the post office.

Contents of Undelivered Letters Include Crucial Documents

The documents discovered included various official papers, such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, ATM cards, and bank passbooks. Legal notices from departments including the Lok Adalat and the Income Tax Department were also part of the recovered items. Officials have indicated that this oversight may have caused considerable distress to residents, as some may have missed out on vital financial and legal communications.

The investigation aims to uncover the reasons behind the accumulation of these letters. Inspector Deepak Kumar stated that the postal department is focused on determining the duration for which these documents had remained undelivered and whether other officials were involved in the situation.

Vikas Kumar has reportedly been stationed at the Pithoria post office for approximately one year. Inspector Kumar noted, “He has been posted for a year. We will have to check the exact records. We are still investigating whether the hoarding began during his tenure or prior to it.”

Postal Authorities Take Action and Initiate Further Investigations

Following the incident, the postal authorities suspended the postman and have launched a thorough probe into the matter. Inspector Kumar has confirmed that strict disciplinary action will be taken against individuals found responsible for the mismanagement of mail.

A video captured near the post office shows the accused appearing visibly distressed while being admonished by postal officials as they reviewed the collected letters and documents. This visual evidence highlights the seriousness of the situation and the impact it has had on local residents.

सही समय पर इलाज की जरूरत

सांप के काटने का शिकार होने पर समय पर इलाज न मिलने की वजह से कई मौतें होती हैं। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि यदि संक्रमित व्यक्ति तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचता है, तो उसकी जान बचने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है। लेकिन ग्रामीण इलाकों में कई लोग झाड़-फूंक और घरेलू उपचार को प्राथमिकता देते हैं, जिससे वक्त बर्बाद होता है।

बारिश का मौसम लाता है गंभीर खतरा

बारिश के मौसम में सांपों के बिलों में पानी भर जाता है, जिससे वे सूखी जगहों की तलाश में निकल आते हैं। यही कारण है कि जून से सितंबर के बीच सांप काटने के मामले सबसे ज्यादा देखे जाते हैं। WHO के अनुसार, जागरूकता और समय पर एंटी-वेनम से बड़ी संख्या में मौतों को रोका जा सकता है।

आंकड़ों की नजर में सांप काटने की गंभीरता

दुनिया में हर साल लगभग 54 लाख लोगों को सांप काटते हैं, जिनमें से 18 से 27 लाख मामलों में जहर शरीर में फैलता है। हर साल 81,000 से 1,38,000 लोगों की जान जाती है, जबकि 4 लाख लोग गंभीर विकलांगता का सामना करते हैं। भारत में हर साल अनुमानतः 10 से 15 लाख लोग सांप काटने का शिकार होते हैं।

गुमला जिले में एंटी-स्नेक वेनम की उपलब्धता

गुमला जिले में हाल ही में 1,380 एंटी-स्नेक वेनम वायल उपलब्ध होने की सूचना मिली है। सिविल सर्जन ने सभी स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को मानसून में सर्पदंश के बढ़ते मामलों के आधार पर सतर्क रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने लोगों से कहा है कि सांप काटने के मामले में झाड़-फूंक करने के बजाय तुरंत नजदीकी अस्पताल पहुंचे।

जोखिम में सबसे ज्यादा कौन है?

विशेषकर ग्रामीण इलाकों में रहने वाले किसान, खेत मजदूर, और बच्चे सांप के काटने के सबसे ज्यादा शिकार बनते हैं। रात के समय करैत जैसे जहरीले सांप घरों में घुस आते हैं, जिससे हादसों की संभावना बढ़ जाती है।

सांप के काटने पर क्या करें?

भारत में लगभग 90% जहरीले सांप काटने के मामले चार प्रमुख प्रजातियों से जुड़े होते हैं। सांप काटने के बाद मरीज को तुरंत नजदीकी अस्पताल पहुंचाना चाहिए। किसी भी प्रकार की झाड़-फूंक या घरेलू इलाज से बचें, क्योंकि इससे स्थिति और गंभीर हो सकती

दुर्घटना के बाद का हालात

हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी का माहौल व्याप्त हो गया। बैंड-बाजे और अन्य सामान सड़क पर बिखर गए थे, जिससे दृश्य और भी भयावह हो गया। घटना के तुरंत बाद स्थानीय ग्रामीण, रजरप्पा थाना पुलिस और आसपास के थानों की पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। सभी घायलों को तुरंत रामगढ़ सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया। अस्पताल पहुंचने पर डॉक्टरों ने सात लोगों को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि एक व्यक्ति की हालत गंभीर हुई। उसे बेहतर इलाज के लिए रांची रेफर कर दिया गया।

ट्रक ड्राइवर हुआ फरार

इस एक्सीडेंट में ट्रक का चालक मौके से फरार हो गया। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि ड्राइवर ने ओवरटेक करने के कोशिश में पिकअप को टक्कर मारी, जिससे यह भयंकर दुर्घटना हुई। सभी मृतक बैंड पार्टी से जुड़े हुए थे और वे रामगढ़ से मारगामरचा जा रहे थे। उन्हें बलसगरा जाना था, जहां उन्हें एक कार्यक्रम में शामिल होना था।

ग्रामीणों का विरोध प्रदर्शन

The Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rakesh Ranjan, provided insights into the events that transpired. He explained that the overcrowding was exacerbated by the fact that only one gate was open for public entry. Ranjan noted that the slower pace of security checks contributed to the build-up of fans, resulting in temporary chaos outside the venue.

Ranjan remarked, “We stepped in and brought the situation under control. Some people sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment. To my knowledge, four or five individuals were hurt. The situation is now calm and under control.” His comments highlight the efforts made by the police to restore order quickly following the incident.

Kamal, a member of the organising committee for the event, acknowledged the challenges posed by the sudden influx of spectators. He emphasised that although the situation escalated momentarily, security personnel managed to resolve it efficiently. Kamal also confirmed that while minor injuries were reported, no serious injuries occurred as a result of the stampede. He reassured that the atmosphere inside the stadium had returned to normal.

81 सदस्यीय झारखंड विधानसभा में INDIA गठबंधन के पास 56 विधायक हैं, जबकि भाजपा नीत NDA के पास केवल 24 विधायक हैं। ऐसे में राजनीतिक विश्लेषकों का मानना है कि नथवानी की जीत विपक्षी खेमे से मिले समर्थन के बिना संभव नहीं थी। चुनाव में कुल तीन वोट रद्द हुए हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार दो वोट NDA समर्थित उम्मीदवार के पक्ष में और एक वोट कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार के पक्ष में डाला गया था। हालांकि किस दल के विधायकों ने क्रॉस वोटिंग की, इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि अभी नहीं हुई है।

जीत के बाद क्या बोले परिमल नथवानी?
