In Ranchi, Kanke dam, also referred to as Gonda dam, has recorded a water level of 27.05 feet, nearing its capacity of 28 feet. Officials indicated a similar rise in water levels in other reservoirs in the city, such as the Hatia and Getalsud dams, raising concerns about further flooding risks.

Rainfall Statistics and Regional Impact

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that the depression over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining northeast Madhya Pradesh has shifted north-northwestwards. It is anticipated to gradually diminish into a well-marked low-pressure area within the next 12 hours. The widespread torrential rain has contributed to a reduction in Jharkhand’s rainfall deficit, which now stands at 3 per cent as of Friday.

Between June 1 and September 25, the state has received 962.6 mm of rainfall, compared to a normal of 992 mm. Despite this improvement, eight districts remain with deficient rainfall. Notably, Pakur reported the highest shortfall at 51 per cent, followed by Chatra at 36 per cent and Sahibganj at 33 per cent. According to the IMD, a deviation of 19 per cent in rainfall is deemed normal.

Conversely, eight districts have experienced surplus rainfall, with West Singhbhum leading at 47 per cent overshoot, followed by Seraikela-Kharsawan at 21 per cent and Ranchi at 15 per cent. This apparent disparity in rainfall distribution across Jharkhand’s districts highlights the varied impact of the current weather patterns on the region. In the secluded location, reports suggest that Ansari strangled the woman and then returned home. Authorities revealed that he allegedly returned to the same site three days later, on September 7, where he dug a pit to conceal her body amidst the ongoing search efforts by her family.

The investigation officials described the condition of the body upon its discovery as significantly decomposed and reportedly mutilated by animals, complicating the process of identification. The woman’s son ultimately recognised her remains.

भारत और नेपाल के सांस्कृतिक व धार्मिक संबंधों को एक नई ऊंचाई देने के लिए केंद्र और बिहार सरकार ने एक बेहद महत्वाकांक्षी योजना को धरातल पर उतारने की तैयारी पूरी कर ली है। नेपाल के काठमांडू स्थित ऐतिहासिक पशुपतिनाथ मंदिर से लेकर झारखंड के देवघर स्थित द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंग बाबा बैद्यनाथ धाम तक बनने वाले 250 किलोमीटर लंबे पशुपतिनाथ-बैद्यनाथ धाम हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर में अब उत्तर बिहार के प्रमुख धार्मिक केंद्र कुशेश्वरस्थान को भी शामिल कर लिया गया है। इस ऐतिहासिक फैसले के बाद न केवल मिथिलांचल बल्कि नेपाल और झारखंड के बीच धार्मिक संपर्क को एक अभूतपूर्व गति मिलेगी।

14 घंटे का सफर 4 घंटे में

केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने इस कॉरिडोर को गैंडोल-कुशेश्वरस्थान-खगड़िया होकर ले जाने के लिए आधिकारिक निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं। इस परियोजना को लेकर दरभंगा के सांसद डॉ. गोपालजी ठाकुर ने बताया कि उन्होंने बीते अप्रैल माह में केंद्रीय मंत्री से मुलाकात कर इस रूट की मांग रखी थी, जिसके बाद मंत्रालय ने सभी भौगोलिक और आर्थिक आंकड़ों का अध्ययन करने के बाद इस पर अपनी मुहर लगाई है। इस कॉरिडोर के निर्माण से काठमांडू से देवघर की यात्रा में लगने वाला 13 से 14 घंटे का लंबा समय घटकर मात्र 3 से 4 घंटे रह जाएगा। यह एक्सप्रेसवे पूरी तरह से ग्रीनफील्ड होगा, जो आधुनिक परिवहन सुविधाओं से लैस होगा।

मिथिला की सांस्कृतिक विरासत का होगा विस्तार

कुशेश्वरस्थान को ‘उत्तर बिहार का बाबाधाम’ कहा जाता है। इस धार्मिक स्थल को हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर से जोड़े जाने से मिथिला की सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक विरासत का सीधा विस्तार नेपाल और झारखंड तक हो जाएगा। अभी तक देश-विदेश से आने वाले शिवभक्तों को इन तीनों पवित्र स्थलों (पशुपतिनाथ, कुशेश्वरनाथ और बैद्यनाथ धाम) की यात्रा करने के लिए बेहद खराब सड़क कनेक्टिविटी और लंबे रास्तों का सामना करना पड़ता था। इस कॉरिडोर के बनने के बाद श्रद्धालु एक ही दिन में इन प्रमुख शिवालयों के सुलभ दर्शन कर सकेंगे, जिससे धार्मिक पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में एक नए युग की शुरुआत होगी।

कम लागत में तैयार होगा कुशेश्वरस्थान का लिंक रोड

परियोजना को आर्थिक और व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण से सुगम बनाने के लिए सांसद डॉ. ठाकुर ने एक महत्वपूर्ण तकनीकी सुझाव भी दिया है। वर्तमान में लगभग 301 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 25 किलोमीटर की लंबाई में पश्चिमी कोसी तटबंध सड़क का निर्माण कार्य चल रहा है। इस निर्माणाधीन सड़क संरचना का उपयोग करके हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर को कुशेश्वरस्थान से आसानी से लिंक किया जा सकता है। ऐसा करने से सरकार को 25 किलोमीटर के दायरे में नए सिरे से भूमि अधिग्रहण और निर्माण नहीं करना पड़ेगा, जिससे कॉरिडोर की निर्माण लागत में भारी कमी आएगी और काम भी तेजी से पूरा होगा।

बिहार के कई जिलों की बदलेगी तस्वीर, आर्थिक विकास को लगेंगे पंख

यह हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर केवल धार्मिक जुड़ाव का माध्यम नहीं बनेगा, बल्कि उत्तर बिहार के आर्थिक परिदृश्य को पूरी तरह बदल कर रख देगा। प्रस्तावित योजना के अनुसार, यह एक्सप्रेसवे नेपाल सीमा के पास भीमनगर और वीरपुर से शुरू होकर बिहार के सुपौल जिले में प्रवेश करेगा। इसके बाद यह मधेपुरा, सहरसा, दरभंगा (कुशेश्वरस्थान), खगड़िया, मुंगेर और बांका जिलों से होते हुए झारखंड के देवघर (बैद्यनाथ धाम) तक पहुंचेगा। इन जिलों को आपस में जोड़ने से क्षेत्रीय व्यापार, स्थानीय बाजार और माल परिवहन को एक नई और तेज रफ्तार मिलेगी।

हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर से बिहार के जिलों को मिलने वाले विशिष्ट लाभ

पशुपतिनाथ-बैद्यनाथ धाम हाई स्पीड कॉरिडोर केवल एक धार्मिक मार्ग नहीं है, बल्कि यह उत्तर, मध्य और दक्षिण-पूर्वी बिहार के विकास के लिए एक आर्थिक जीवनरेखा साबित होने वाला है। यह कॉरिडोर बिहार के जिन प्रमुख जिलों से होकर गुजरेगा, वहां के व्यापार, कृषि और बुनियादी ढांचे में क्रांतिकारी बदलाव आएंगे।

सुपौल मधेपुरा और सहरसा में कृषि क्रांति

यह कॉरिडोर नेपाल सीमा पर स्थित सुपौल के भीमनगर और वीरपुर से शुरू होकर भारत में प्रवेश करेगा। इस वजह से यह पूरा क्षेत्र भारत और नेपाल के बीच होने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार और माल ढुलाई का सबसे बड़ा केंद्र बनेगा। सीमाई इलाकों में परिवहन और लॉजिस्टिक्स हब विकसित होने से स्थानीय युवाओं को बड़े पैमाने पर रोजगार के नए अवसर मिलेंगे। कोसी क्षेत्र के ये दोनों जिले मक्का, मखाना और जूट के बंपर उत्पादन के लिए पूरी दुनिया में जाने जाते हैं। बेहतरीन और तेज कनेक्टिविटी मिलने से यहाँ के किसानों की फसलें चंद घंटों में नेपाल और झारखंड के देवघर, रांची या कोलकाता के बड़े बाजारों तक सुरक्षित पहुंच सकेंगी। इससे बिचौलियों का एकाधिकार खत्म होगा और किसानों को अपनी उपज का सीधा और सही मुनाफा मिल सकेगा।

दरभंगा का कायाकल्प, खगड़िया बनेगा फूड प्रोसेसिंग हब

कॉरिडोर के मूल रूट में बदलाव कर इसे दरभंगा के भेजा, गंडौल और कुशेश्वरस्थान से जोड़ा गया है। कोसी और कमला नदी के बीच बसे ये इलाके दशकों से खराब सड़कों और बाढ़ की मार झेल रहे थे। एक्सप्रेसवे बनने से इन उपेक्षित इलाकों का सीधा सामाजिक और आर्थिक विकास होगा। कुशेश्वरस्थान में पर्यटकों की संख्या बढ़ने से होटल, परिवहन और स्थानीय हस्तशिल्प व्यवसाय को भारी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। खगड़िया भौगोलिक रूप से उत्तर और दक्षिण बिहार को जोड़ने वाला एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण जंक्शन है। एक्सप्रेसवे का खगड़िया से गुजरना यहाँ खाद्य प्रसंस्करण यानी फूड प्रोसेसिंग उद्योगों के लिए वरदान साबित होगा। यहाँ मक्का और केला आधारित फैक्ट्रियां लगाने के लिए बड़ी कंपनियां आकर्षित होंगी, क्योंकि उन्हें नेपाल और झारखंड दोनों तरफ माल भेजने के लिए एक बेहतरीन और तेज रास्ता मिल जाएगा।

मुंगेर और औद्योगिक विकास को रफ्तार

यह कॉरिडोर खगड़िया से आगे बढ़ते हुए गंगा नदी पार कर मुंगेर जिले में प्रवेश करेगा। मुंगेर के रेल और सड़क पुलों के माध्यम से यह उत्तर और दक्षिण बिहार की दूरी को बेहद कम कर देगा। मुंगेर के स्थानीय उद्योगों और व्यवसायों को सीधे झारखंड के बाजारों तक आसान पहुंच मिलेगी, जिससे इस औद्योगिक शहर का पुराना गौरव वापस लौट सकेगा।बांका और दक्षिण बिहार का पर्यटनझारखंड सीमा से ठीक पहले यह कॉरिडोर बांका जिले को कवर करेगा। इससे बांका का प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक स्थल मंदार पर्वत इस कॉरिडोर के बेहद करीब आ जाएगा, जिससे यहाँ पर्यटन का दायरा बढ़ेगा। इसके अलावा, इस क्षेत्र से जुड़े व्यापार और परिवहन को भी बहुत मजबूती मिलेगी।

Jharkhand Silent Ration Card: किन लोगों के राशन कार्ड पर होगी कार्रवाई?

सरकार ऐसे राशन कार्ड धारकों की पहचान कर रही है, जिन्हें ‘साइलेंट कार्डधारी’ माना जा रहा है। इसका मतलब ऐसे लाभार्थी हैं, जिन्होंने लगातार छह महीने या उससे ज्यादा समय से PDS दुकान से अपना राशन नहीं लिया है। सरकार का मानना है कि कुछ लोगों ने राशन कार्ड सिर्फ दूसरी सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ लेने के लिए बनवाए हैं। उदाहरण के तौर पर आयुष्मान भारत और मंईयां सम्मान योजना जैसी योजनाओं का लाभ लेने के लिए बनाए गए कुछ कार्डों से नियमित तौर पर राशन नहीं उठाया जा रहा है। ऐसे कार्डों की जांच का मकसद फर्जी या इस्तेमाल में नहीं आ रहे राशन कार्डों की पहचान करना है, ताकि सरकारी खाद्यान्न का लाभ वास्तविक पात्र परिवारों तक पहुंचाया जा सके।

21 सितंबर तक राशन उठाने का मौका

जिन लाभार्थियों का कार्ड छह महीने से राशन नहीं लेने की वजह से साइलेंट श्रेणी में आया है, उनके पास अभी मौका है। उन्हें 21 सितंबर तक PDS दुकान से अपना राशन उठाना होगा। अगर लाभार्थी तय समय के भीतर राशन ले लेते हैं तो उनका कार्ड सक्रिय रखने की प्रक्रिया में शामिल किया जा सकता है। इसलिए ऐसे लोगों को अपने राशन कार्ड की स्थिति को लेकर लापरवाही नहीं करनी चाहिए। राज्य सरकार इस संबंध में जल्द ही आधिकारिक सूचना जारी कर सकती है, ताकि प्रभावित लाभार्थियों को पूरी जानकारी मिल सके।

1 अक्टूबर के बाद भी मिलेगा KYC का मौका

Jharkhand Silent Ration Card: राशन कार्ड निष्क्रिय होने के बाद भी लाभार्थियों के लिए रास्ता पूरी तरह बंद नहीं होगा। सरकार ने ऐसे कार्डधारकों को e-KYC पूरी कराने के लिए अतिरिक्त समय देने की व्यवस्था की है। जो लोग 21 सितंबर तक अपनी e-KYC पूरी नहीं करा पाते हैं, उन्हें 1 अक्टूबर 2026 के बाद भी 1 जनवरी 2027 तक करीब तीन महीने का समय दिया जाएगा। इस दौरान फील्ड वेरिफिकेशन के जरिए उनकी पहचान और e-KYC की प्रक्रिया पूरी कराई जा सकती है। इसका मतलब यह है कि 1 अक्टूबर से कार्ड का अस्थायी निष्क्रिय होना स्थायी रूप से राशन कार्ड खत्म होने के बराबर नहीं है। निर्धारित प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के बाद कार्ड को दोबारा सक्रिय कराने का मौका मिल सकता है।

सरकार क्यों कर रही है यह कार्रवाई?

राशन व्यवस्था में लंबे समय से ऐसे कार्डों की पहचान करने की कोशिश की जा रही है, जिनका इस्तेमाल नियमित रूप से नहीं हो रहा है। छह महीने तक राशन नहीं लेने वाले कार्डों की जांच से सरकार को यह पता लगाने में मदद मिलेगी कि कौन से कार्ड वास्तव में जरूरतमंद परिवारों के हैं और किन कार्डों का इस्तेमाल दूसरी योजनाओं के लिए हो रहा है। केंद्रीय स्तर पर भी ऐसे ‘साइलेंट’ राशन कार्डों को अस्थायी रूप से निष्क्रिय करने और उनकी e-KYC कराने को लेकर व्यवस्था बनाई गई है। इससे राशन वितरण व्यवस्था को ज्यादा पारदर्शी बनाने और गलत तरीके से राशन लेने वाले लाभार्थियों की पहचान करने में मदद मिलने की उम्मीद है।

लाभार्थी अभी क्या करें?

अगर झारखंड में आपका राशन कार्ड है और आपने पिछले छह महीने से PDS दुकान से राशन नहीं लिया है, तो 21 सितंबर से पहले राशन जरूर उठाएं। साथ ही अपनी e-KYC की स्थिति भी जांच लें। अगर किसी वजह से राशन नहीं लिया गया है या कार्ड से जुड़ी कोई समस्या है, तो नजदीकी PDS दुकान या संबंधित खाद्य विभाग के अधिकारियों से जानकारी लेना बेहतर होगा सरकार का यह कदम ऐसे राशन कार्डों की पहचान करने के लिए है, जिनका लंबे समय से इस्तेमाल नहीं हो रहा है। 21 सितंबर 2026 की तारीख साइलेंट कार्डधारकों के लिए अहम है, क्योंकि इसके बाद 1 अक्टूबर से कार्ड अस्थायी रूप से निष्क्रिय किए जा सकते हैं। हालांकि, e-KYC और सत्यापन के लिए 1 जनवरी 2027 तक समय मिलने से पात्र लोगों के पास अपनी स्थिति सुधारने का मौका रहेगा।

कौन हैं ये नागरिक?

जमशेदपुर पूर्वी विधानसभा क्षेत्र से ये तीन अफगानी नागरिक हैं आसिल खान, मोहम्मद असलम और मोहम्मद इब्राहिम। इनके नाम मतदान केंद्र संख्या पाट 286 में सीरियल नंबर 30, 31 और 33 पर दर्ज हैं। इनकी पहचान के बाद उन्हें नोटिस भेजा गया, लेकिन वह आवश्यक दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सके।

मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी की प्रतिक्रिया

झारखंड के मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी के. रवि कुमार ने इस मामले को गंभीरता से लिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मामला विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण के दौरान दस्तावेजों की जांच के क्रम में सामने आया। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि किसी भी विदेशी नागरिक का नाम मतदाता सूची में नहीं आना चाहिए। मामले की पूरी तहकीकात की जा रही है, और अगर किसी ने फर्जी दस्तावेज का उपयोग किया है, तो उसका पता चल जाएगा।

मतदाता सूची में नाम जोड़ने की प्रक्रिया

रवि कुमार ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वे मतदाता सूची में अपने नाम और विवरण को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आवश्यक फॉर्म नियमित समय सीमा के भीतर जमा करें। SIR के तहत नाम जोड़ने के लिए फॉर्म-6 भरना होगा, तथा किसी भी तरह के संशोधन के लिए फॉर्म-8 और नाम विलोपन के लिए फॉर्म-7 का उपयोग किया जा सकता है। इन सभी प्रक्रियाओं की अंतिम तिथि 15 सितम्बर है।

मतदाता सूची का महत्व

मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी ने बताया कि SIR के तहत तैयार की गई मतदाता सूची को स्थायी अभिलेख के रूप में संरक्षित किया जाता है। इसलिए सभी नागरिकों को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि उनका और उनके परिवार के सभी पात्र सदस्यों का नाम इस सूची में अवश्य हो। यह मौका सभी के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है कि वे अपनी पहचान सुनिश्चित करें और लोकतंत्र की इस प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा बनें।

His efforts to secure a government job have been stymied by the state’s sports policy, leaving him in a precarious position despite his contributions to the country’s sporting success. While several of his teammates from Chhattisgarh, Haryana, and Bihar have acquired government positions, Amardeep has been unable to achieve the same.

He shared his grievances regarding the lack of recognition and employment opportunities with Aaj Tak, revealing that a teammate from Haryana, who served as his captain, had received various benefits from the state government. Amardeep’s appeals for a cash award and government employment have remained unaddressed, leaving him feeling neglected by the authorities.

Family Life and Financial Burdens

Amardeep’s family structure includes his father, mother, and elder brother, all of whom contribute to the household income. His father sells vegetables at the local market, while his mother not only manages the home but also sells vegetables door-to-door, often carrying heavy loads on her head. His elder brother runs a fast-food stall, providing additional financial support to the family.

Amardeep has actively sought assistance from the government since 2016, but to no avail. He recounted how he has had to borrow money to finance his participation in international tournaments. For his trip to Malaysia, he incurred debts amounting to Rs 65,000, with the local throwball association helping to cover approximately half of the cost.

His pursuit of a government job commenced in 2020, but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic hampered those efforts. He resumed his job search in 2022 and remains dedicated to finding stable employment while continuing his athletic commitments.

Attention from Officials and Future Prospects

The plight of Amardeep has garnered the attention of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who used social media to highlight the issue. He instructed the sports department to take immediate action regarding Amardeep’s situation. This public recognition has sparked positive responses from state officials.

Sports Minister Sudivya Sonu communicated with Aaj Tak, stating that the government is currently reviewing options to provide Amardeep with employment as per the existing sports policy. Additionally, officials are exploring other potential job opportunities for the athlete to ensure he receives the recognition and support he deserves.

Despite his considerable challenges, Amardeep remains resolute in balancing his work and sporting commitments. He has plans to participate in a tournament in Sri Lanka in late October 2026, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his sport. He continues to persevere, indicating resilience in the face of adversity.
