Education officials acknowledge that synchronising exam schedules and expediting evaluations will be vital to overcome these obstacles.

परीक्षा में नई व्यवस्था का लाभ

सीबीएसई के परीक्षा नियंत्रक संयम भारद्वाज के अनुसार इस नई व्यवस्था से कॉपियों के ट्रांसपोर्ट में लगने वाला समय और खर्च कम होगा। शिक्षकों को अपने स्कूल में ही मूल्यांकन करने का मौका मिलेगा, जिससे बच्चों की पढ़ाई पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ेगा। यह नया सिस्टम बोर्ड द्वारा पारदर्शिता और तेज मूल्यांकन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लाया गया है।

ऑनस्क्रीन मार्किंग की तैयारी

नए नियमों के अनुसार ऑनस्क्रीन मार्किंग के लिए स्कूलों में कंप्यूटर लैब की व्यवस्था अनिवार्य होगी। शिक्षकों को इस प्रक्रिया से परिचित कराने के लिए प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम चलाए जाएंगे। सभी शिक्षकों को ओएसिस आईडी के माध्यम से जोड़ा जाएगा और कई बार ड्राई रन कराए जाएंगे ताकि प्रक्रिया में कोई परेशानी न आए।

इस प्रणाली को सुचारू रूप से चलाने के लिए लेटेस्ट इंटरनेट ब्राउजर और 2 एमबीपीएस की स्थिर इंटरनेट स्पीड जरूरी होगी। इसके साथ ही निर्बाध बिजली की व्यवस्था भी सुनिश्चित करनी होगी ताकि मूल्यांकन में कोई रुकावट न आए। बोर्ड द्वारा पाठ्यक्रम की अवधि में भी कोई बदलाव नहीं किया जा रहा है।

प्रशिक्षण और सहायता केंद्रों की पहल

सीबीएसई ने सभी शिक्षकों के लिए एक कॉल सेंटर की व्यवस्था की है। इसके सहयोग से कोई भी दिक्कत होने पर तुरंत सहायता प्राप्त की जा सकेगी। इसके अलावा, बोर्ड ने निर्देशात्मक वीडियो भी जारी करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिससे शिक्षकों को प्रक्रिया में कोई भी समस्या न हो।

Modi advised young students to not be afraid of using these tools, but while using them be responsible, “Technology is a boon. We must embrace it. Use AI wisely to improve your wisdom and your personality,” he said to students.

Modi’s focus on Viksit Bharat

Urging students to be responsible citizens of India, Modi shared his dream of Viksit Bharat or developed India and how this dream depended on young minds like them. “If we want a developed India, we must ensure cleanliness and spread awareness,” he noted.

Talking about 2047, when India will celebrate 100 years of independence, Modi said to the students that they will be in their prime, “You will be 35 to 40 years old then. Who do you think I am working hard for? You must also work for a Viksit Bharat and support Indian products,” .

Exam should not be life goal: Modi

During the discussion PM Modi pointed out that no students should ever think that exams are their future, “Education should not feel like a burden. It requires complete involvement. Studying in bits and pieces does not lead to success,” he said. He noted that the actual learning can only happen when students are deeply involved in the process, “Life is not just about exams. Education is a medium of development. Exams should never be the final goal — all-round development should be,” Modi noted.

Modi said students should have faith and trust in self and instinct, one should never follow others blindly, “No matter what parents, teachers or friends say, have faith in your own path while respecting their advice,”. Modi advised students to set goals that are challenging but achievable.
“Our goals should be within reach, but not easily. Always try to stay one step ahead of your teacher,” he said.

While talking to students, PM Modi also addressed teachers, he said teachers should try new learning styles, “ If you give students the list of topics in advance and ask them to prepare, it will create curiosity and improve understanding,” he said.

Monitor sensitive exam centres

The STF has been specifically directed to monitor sensitive exam centres identified prior to the examination. The Yogi government has also issued strict instructions to track and monitor individuals with a history of disrupting the integrity of examinations, including known cheating syndicates and repeat offenders. Those previously involved in examination-related crimes and currently out on bail will be kept under special surveillance.

Additionally, the STF will keep a close watch on social media platforms, including open forums as well as private messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, which are often exploited to spread rumors or coordinate illegal activities. Dedicated teams will also monitor coaching institutes during the examination period, and any suspicious activities will be immediately reported to the concerned agencies for quick action.

Police forces will be deployed

Police forces will be deployed at every exam centre to maintain peace and conduct strict frisking of candidates to ensure no banned items are carried inside. Armed guards and senior officers will be present throughout the process, from taking confidential exam papers out of the treasury to dispatching answer sheets after the exam.

If any candidate or person is found using unfair means during the exam, strict legal action will be taken under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

RO/ARO exam completely free

This joint effort by the state government and the Commission aims to make the RO/ARO exam completely free of cheating and ensure fairness and transparency. Officials have been given clear instructions to follow all protocols.

A senior officer will be appointed to coordinate between the Commission and the STF on the day of the exam. Additionally, in every district, a Police Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police, or Superintendent of Police will directly oversee the arrangements.

Over 10.76 lakh candidates to appear

The exam will be held in all 75 districts of the state on July 27 in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Over 10.76 lakh candidates are expected to appear, and 2,382 exam centres have been set up across the state. Each District Magistrate has been appointed as the nodal officer to monitor all arrangements and take quick decisions when needed.

This will mean that the students are likely to get only one or two days’ break between two consecutive exams, depending on their subject choice. This period is considerably shorter than the current interval which sometimes extends up to 10 days.

The Proposed Norms

The CBSE also has sought public feedback on its proposal based on which it is likely to review and then finalise. The CBSE proposal to conduct two board exams for class 10th is in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

“Eliminate the high-pressure aspect of board exams. All students will be allowed to take board exams on up to 2 occasions during any given school year, one main examination and another for improvement, if one desires to,” states the National Education Policy 2020.
