सोमवार सुबह लगभग 11:00 बजे जैसे ही संसद सत्र की कार्यवाही शुरू हुई, ठीक उसी समय दिल्ली के हाई-सिक्योरिटी वाले पार्लियामेंट स्ट्रीट इलाके में हजारों की तादाद में छात्र और युवा एकत्र होने लगे। प्रदर्शनकारियों का नेतृत्व कर रहे CJP के कार्यकर्ताओं का उद्देश्य संसद भवन के घेराव के जरिए देश के शिक्षा तंत्र में हो रही धांधली की ओर सरकार का ध्यान आकर्षित करना था। प्रशासन ने सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम करते हुए पूरे नई दिल्ली जिले में भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता (BNSS) की धारा 163 (पूर्ववर्ती धारा 144) लागू कर रखी थी।

संसद भवन पर स्थिति हुई तनावपूर्ण

जैसे ही छात्रों का हुजूम जंतर-मंतर से आगे बढ़कर संसद मार्ग पर लगे पहले सुरक्षा घेरे को पार करने की कोशिश करने लगा, माहौल तनावपूर्ण हो गया। पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, सुबह तकरीबन 11:25 बजे प्रदर्शनकारियों ने पुलिस द्वारा लगाए गए कई स्तरों के लोहे और कंक्रीट के बैरिकेड्स को जबरन तोड़ने का प्रयास किया। छात्रों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए पहले पुलिस ने लाउडस्पीकर के माध्यम से चेतावनी दी, लेकिन जब स्थिति नियंत्रण से बाहर होने लगी, तो पुलिस और रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स (RAF) के जवानों ने लाठीचार्ज शुरू कर दिया। सड़कों पर मचे इस घमासान में कई छात्र और कुछ पुलिसकर्मी भी घायल हुए हैं।

प्रदर्शनकारियों पर पुलिस का बलप्रयोग

प्रदर्शन स्थल से मिली प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को तितर-बितर करने के लिए पानी की बौछारों और आंसू गैस के गोलों का भी इस्तेमाल किया। इस पूरी कार्रवाई के दौरान पुलिस ने 15 से अधिक प्रमुख छात्र नेताओं को हिरासत में ले लिया। पुलिस के इस आक्रामक रुख ने आग में घी का काम किया, जिसकी गूंज कुछ ही घंटों में संसद के भीतर और बाहर दोनों जगह सुनाई देने लगी।

ममता बनर्जी का तीखा बयान और लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों की दुहाई

ममता बनर्जी के अलावा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे और विपक्ष के अन्य वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने भी दिल्ली पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई पर गहरा रोष व्यक्त किया है। मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने संसद परिसर में संवाददाताओं से बात करते हुए कहा कि भाजपा नीत केंद्र सरकार देश के युवाओं की आवाज को दबाने के लिए पुलिसिया तंत्र का दुरुपयोग कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब छात्र रोजगार, पारदर्शी परीक्षा प्रणाली और अपने सुरक्षित भविष्य की मांग करते हैं, तो उन्हें बदले में लाठियां मिलती हैं।

विपक्ष की देशव्यापी आंदोलन की धमकी

विपक्षी दलों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि हिरासत में लिए गए छात्रों को तुरंत रिहा नहीं किया गया और उनकी जायज मांगों पर विचार नहीं किया गया, तो यह आंदोलन केवल दिल्ली तक सीमित नहीं रहेगा, बल्कि इसे देश के कोने-कोने में ले जाया जाएगा। संसद के मानसून सत्र में भी इस मुद्दे पर भारी हंगामे के आसार बन गए हैं। विपक्ष ने संकेत दिए हैं कि वे परीक्षा प्रणाली की विफलताओं पर स्थगन प्रस्ताव लाकर सरकार से संसद के पटल पर जवाब मांगेंगे।

दिल्ली पुलिस का खंडन और सरकार की डैमेज कंट्रोल की कोशिशें

चौतरफा घिरने के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस और केंद्र सरकार की ओर से भी इस मामले में स्पष्टीकरण सामने आए हैं। दिल्ली पुलिस के आधिकारिक प्रवक्ता ने मीडिया के एक वर्ग में चल रही लाठीचार्ज की खबरों का खंडन करते हुए दावा किया कि पुलिस ने किसी भी तरह के अतिरिक्त बल का प्रयोग नहीं किया है। पुलिस बयान के मुताबिक, जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन को बेहद पेशेवर और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से संभाला गया। पुलिस ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे सोशल मीडिया पर फैल रही अफवाहों या गलत धारणाओं का शिकार न बनें और शांति व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में प्रशासन का सहयोग करें।

सरकार बातचीत के लिए मानी

दूसरी तरफ, सड़कों पर बढ़ते जनाक्रोश को देखते हुए सरकार ने तुरंत ‘डैमेज कंट्रोल’ की कवायद भी शुरू कर दी है। बढ़ते राजनीतिक दबाव के बीच, कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के मुख्य प्रवक्ता सौरव दास और आशुतोष रांका के नेतृत्व में एक छात्र प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष और केंद्रीय मंत्री जेपी नड्डा से उनके आवास पर मुलाकात की। लगभग 10 मिनट तक चली इस संक्षिप्त लेकिन महत्वपूर्ण बैठक में छात्र नेताओं ने परीक्षा प्रणाली में सुधार और छात्रों की सुरक्षा को लेकर अपनी चिंताएं उनके समक्ष रखीं। हालांकि, इस बैठक के बाद भी छात्र संगठनों का कहना है कि जब तक उनकी सभी मांगें लिखित रूप में स्वीकार नहीं की जातीं, उनका सांकेतिक विरोध जारी रहेगा।

भविष्य की राह और देश के युवाओं का संदेश

दिल्ली की सड़कों पर आज जो कुछ भी हुआ, उसने एक बार फिर साबित कर दिया है कि देश की युवा शक्ति अपने अधिकारों को लेकर बेहद सजग है। परीक्षा घोटालों ने जहां देश के मध्यवर्ग और छात्र समुदाय के भीतर एक गहरी असुरक्षा की भावना पैदा कर दी है, वहीं सरकार का कड़ा प्रशासनिक रुख इस असंतोष को और अधिक भड़काने का काम कर रहा है। ममता बनर्जी जैसी वरिष्ठ नेता का इस आंदोलन को खुला समर्थन मिलना इस बात का संकेत है कि आने वाले दिनों में यह मुद्दा राष्ट्रीय राजनीति के केंद्र में रहने वाला है। अब देखना यह होगा कि क्या केंद्र सरकार विपक्षी दलों और छात्रों की मांगों के आगे झुकते हुए परीक्षा प्रणाली में बड़े नीतिगत बदलाव करती है या फिर सत्ता और संगठन के बल पर इस आंदोलन को दबाने का प्रयास जारी रहता है।
