गुडीबैग के संस्थापक अभिषेक अग्रवाल के अनुसार इस मुहिम की शुरुआत साल 2022 में महज एक व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप के जरिए हुई थी। उस समय मकसद सिर्फ इतना था कि लोगों को कचरा अलग करने के प्रति जागरूक किया जाए। आज यह पहल एक बड़े प्लेटफॉर्म का रूप ले चुकी है। गुडीबैग का अपना मोबाइल ऐप भी है और 18 लोग इस पर काम कर रहे हैं। इन्हीं की वजह से अब तक 30 हजार से ज्यादा जागरूक लोग जुड़ चुके हैं।

सूखा कचरा: एक चुनौती

अभिषेक अग्रवाल बताते हैं कि गुडीबैग केवल सूखा कचरा ही स्वीकार करता है। गीला कचरा बिल्कुल नहीं लिया जाता। शुरुआत में लोगों को सूखे और गीले कचरे के अंतर को समझाना और सिर्फ सूखा कचरा देने के लिए राजी करना काफी चुनौतीपूर्ण रहा। हालांकि, लगातार जागरूकता के बाद लोगों की सोच बदली और वे खुद कचरे को साफ करके अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में बांटने लगे।

गुडीबैग हर दिन गांवों और शहरों से 30 हजार से 40 हजार किलोग्राम तक सूखा कचरा इकट्ठा कर रहा है। इसमें मल्टी-लेयर प्लास्टिक, फूड कंटेनर, बबल रैप, एक्सपायर्ड दवाइयां और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वेस्ट शामिल हैं। अभिषेक के मुताबिक, गुडीबैग की टीम अब तक 25 लाख किलोग्राम यानी 2500 टन से अधिक सूखे कचरे को सफलतापूर्वक रीसायकल कर चुकी है। इससे इसे लैंडफिल में जाने और पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुंचाने से बचाया जा सका।

रिवार्ड के साथ कचरा प्रबंधन

देश भर से लोग खुद के खर्च पर अपने सूखे कचरे को तेलंगाना के मोइनाबाद स्थित सेंटर पर पार्सल कर रहे हैं। इसके बदले Goodeebag रिवार्ड भी देता है। कचरा प्रबंधन की दिशा में यह मॉडल न सिर्फ प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण को कम कर रहा है बल्कि स्वच्छ भारत मिशन को भी जमीनी स्तर पर मजबूती दे रहा है।
