Reaction Highlights to the Union Budget 2018

The budget has been good for the rural people. Piruz Khambatta, Chairman & Managing Director, Rasna says, ” It is important to increase deductions and exemptions for CSR. There has been an invitation to come forth for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and build together with the government.”

Speaking to Sanjiv Saraff, Chairman, CII Western Region, he says, ” Where are the jobs for the disabled after the top court orders. I request the PSUs heads to employ the disabled. It is important to replicate the stories of larger companies, while considering the commendable role of the NGOs.”

There has to be a discipline in spending to create impact. The govt has proposed schemes for the upliftment of various sectors, like health, education, infrastructure and more importantly the rural areas.
