CSR Mandate May Increase to 8-10% in Next 10 Years: Pratyush Panda, Head, CSR, ACC Cements

No plan can be executed without considering the needs of beneficiaries who are an important stakeholder. It is crucial to align business practices in line with sustainable methods for the environment. In conversation with The CSR Journal, Pratyush Panda, Head, CSR, ACC Cements says, “In the cement sector, all the competitors work together to bring about a change in carbon reduction and water policies. For all activities, we have a third party social audit team and their feedback is implemented.” He believes in the next 15-20 years the CSR mandate will increase to about 8-10% inorder to address communication gaps, increase awareness and cater to interlinked issues on field.
