Corporate Houses Need to Find Their Own Way of Fulfilling CSR: Romesh Sobti, MD & CEO, IndusInd Bank

Romesh Sobti is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of IndusInd Bank Limited since February 1, 2008. He has 33 years of banking experience in large state owned and multinational banks, including ANZ Grindlays Bank and State Bank of India. In a brief chat with The CSR Journal on the inclusion of other organizations in initiatives, he says, “Organisations much follow a theme of commitment. Corporate Social Responsibility is a wonderful opportunity to really make a difference.” He stresses on the need for work to be done through motivation and not penalty.
